Crypto Mining Farm

A project partner and I found a shared passion for GPUs and started acquiring a total of 60 GPUs.

We built 10 mining rigs, each containing 6 GPUs. To achieve the max hash rate, we undervolted the core and overclocked the memory, depending on what GPU or algorithm was run.

We chose GPUs with a robust multi-phase VRM, that were likely binned, or had a preset OC/mining BIOS.

The majority of cards we owned included:

NVIDIA GTX 1080 Tis (EVGA FTW3, MSI Lightning Z) 

NVIDIA GTX 1070 (ASUS STRIX, MSI GAMING X)

AMD RX 570 (XFX)

AMD RX 580 (XFX)
